PLANTCON A/S offers a "macro starter" combined with a file browser.
Problem:
You having a command line, want to run a macro by typing $M/c:/…../my-macro - but can not remember in which directory the macro is located. It could be nice to have a file browser for searching and starting the macro.
Solution
This tool gives you the possibility to use AVEVA normal file browser to find the macro and start it.
The macro start is e.g. (on my system) located in the UTILITY menu in all modules:
Choosing this menu point gives this FORM:
Push the Browse... button and this File Browser shows up:
"Move" around - find the macro file and push OK - the full name will show up in the form like here - and an OK push will start the chosen macro:
If the chosen file not a PML macro an alert error can appear, otherwise it will just run like you wrote the normal command: $m/c:/user/my-macros/Msp in the command line.
