What it's about |
The aim of this training module is to provide the basic knowledge of the common features that provide the
‘foundations’ for the AVEVA Everything3D Model module and provide basic knowledge of Equipment Modelling within AVEVA E3D. |
Who it's for |
- Engineers who will be designing and constructing 3d computer plant models
Other users who need a solid grounding in PDMS before taking on
responsibility for other aspects of PDMS and its family of related products.

Objectives |
At the end of this course the Trainee will be able to:
- Explain the structure of AVEVA E3D
- Familiarise trainees with the basics of the User Interface
- Explain how to manipulate the 3D model
- Explain Element Attributes, Positioning and Orinteation of Elements
- Introduce the Model Editor for graphical model manipulation
- Explain the basics of Equipment Modelling in AVEVA E3D
- Create equipment using primitives
- Demonstrate the use of Standard Equipment models
- Explain the creation of Electrical Equipment
- Prepare equipment reports
- Utilise Equipment Associations
- Understand Hole Management for Equipment
- Explain how to create Volume Models in AVEVA E3D.
